The Lakland 44-94 US Series Classic and Deluxe Bass

The Lakland 44-94 bass was Lakland's first bass. This is a hand crafted masterpiece which reminds one of classic basses with plenty of its' own bold character. Emulates a wide range of tones offered by many popular basses. Upgrades and configuration changes may effect price.

The 44-94 uses an MM split pickup in the bridge position and a single J style pickup in neck position. Coils are independently humbucked and a switch splits the bridge pickup. Fingerboards are available in birds eye maple, rosewood or ebony. The body is also designed to accommodate almost any pickup on the market offering a wide range of tone options. Bass player magazine reviewed this bass and said that it has "an ultra smooth, already broken in feel that melts in your hand". Available in standard, classic and deluxe versions. The Deluxe is also available in a quilted Maple top. A Lefty version is avails in both the classic and deluxe models. Available in a variety of colors including tobacco sunburst, cherry sunburst, amber translucent, shoreline gold, lake placid blue, and inca silver.
