The Lakland Skyline 44-60 Custom Vintage J Style Bass

Lakland Skyline 44-60 Custom Vintage J style bass (formerly known as the Joe Osborn Signature) is built to the same specifications as US built 44-60.  This bass includes Lakland passive J Style pickups which reproduce vintage tones and the neck has a nice playable taper and pearl block inlays and bound neck.  Upgrades and configuration changes may effect price.  We offer a wide variety of basses for sale, please consider us when you buy your next Lakland bass.

The Lakland Skyline 44-60 Custom Vintage J recreates that vintage 60's tone.  The US series version of the 44-60 bass has received great reviews from the likes of Guitar World's Bass Guitar Magazine, Bass Player and Music Biz.     The Skyline series 44-60 Custom uses a slim playable neck and narrow nut with an offset balanced body and concentric control knobs with a bound neck.  A lefty version is only available on the US Series version.  Chi Sonic pickups are also an option.  Available in Three Tone Translucent (shown above), Black and Natural. Also available in a fretless version however lefty versions are not available.

The 44-60 has traditional dot markers and an unbound neck but otherwise is essentially the same bass.
