The Lakland Skyline 55-01 bass is similar to the 44-01 bass, it has dual Bartolini Mk-1 split coil soapbar pickups and the MK-1 preamp but a 5 string version. The body has a deep cutaway that allows access to all frets to enhance playability. 35" scale neck and smooth pleked frets make this bass a pleasure to play. The Lakland Skyline 55-01 - Some high-end basses aren't equipped like the 55-01! Check out a pair of Bartolini MK-1 split-coil soapbars and an MK-1 onboard, 3-band buffered, active preamp. You can dial in more tones than you've ever heard. The 35" scale neck is fast and smooth and the easy playing Lakland body shape makes this an all-around attractive package. Available in Black, Three Tone Translucent and Natural (pictured). An amazing bass for the price. Not available in Lefty version.
