Lakland Skyline basses are available in 4 and 5 string models. 4 string Skyline basses feature a 34" scale while 5 string Skyline basses feature at 35" scale. All Skyline basses have pleked frets for smooth easy buzz free play, quality American assembly and that famous Lakland tone. Lakland Dual Access bridges are standard on all basses and strings can be set up through body or through bridge. A great value and awesome basses. Upgrades and configuration changes may effect price. The Lakland Skyline 44-01 - Some high-end basses aren't equipped like the 44-01! Check out a pair of Bartolini MK-1 split-coil soapbars and an MK-1 onboard, 3-band buffered, active preamp. You can dial in more tones than you've ever heard. The 34" scale neck is fast and smooth and the Lakland body shape makes this an all-around attractive package. Shown in Natural finish. Not available in Lefty versions. Prices start at $1104		The Lakland Skyline 44-02 has an active punch that will drive your sound clearly through any mix, but is also subtle and refined to fit well into any playing situation. Use Lakland MM-J pickups, (Chi-Sonics optional) onboard preamp, 3 way controls with bridge pickup coil tap toggle. Show in optional Quilt Maple top in Cherry three tone Sunburst. The Lakland Skyline Decade features a unique but functional body shape, Lakland Chi-Sonic pickups, Ash, Alder or Mahogany body, Active Chi-Sonics are an option. Shown in Burgundy Translucent finish. Similar to our standard 44-64 series body, the custom features a narrower 1.5" tapered neck with fingerboard blocks, binding, and matching headstock. An instant classic! The Lakland Skyline 44-64 Vintage P features one custom-wound Lakland pickup which provides a bruising punch and drive that nails the vintage tone, sending it through the roof with full voicing and modern energy. Alder body, volume/tone controls, Lakland split hybrid pickup (Chi-Sonic pickups optional), Shown in Candy Apple Red. Lefty version available. The fingerboard is fashioned from rosewood. The resonant voice of the bass' cavity is faithfully reproduced by passive Chi-Sonic Humbuckers. So what about the tone ? The Hollowbody has a firm, punchy attack that is lacking in most hollow basses and maintains its focus well into a sustain. Also available in a flame maple top. For Lefty, flip and restring bass. Lakland Skyline 55-02 5 string bass is equipped with a MM/J pickup configuration, custom 3 band EQ preamp an a 3 way toggle for coil splitting. Bass guitar magazine said the Deluxe version with Maple fingerboard "seriously raised the bar in the world of high-end 5 strings". Not available in Lefty version. Prices start at $1752		The Lakland skyline 55-60 5 string bass is the same "updated classic" tone as the original 44-60 4 string version, but is combined with the modern design appointments. Combines leading edge of '60's technology (the slim neck and narrow nut, the offset-body balancing, and concentric control knobs) and with today's leading edge technology (graphite reinforcement, enhanced neck joint, passive pickups by Lakland) creating a contemporary classic.
