The Lakland Hollowbody was created in collaboration with master Luthier Michael Tobias.  It's build using a carved mahogany back and maple top creating a resonant cavity with great tone and looks to match.  The neck is maple with a rosewood fingerboard.  To top off this masterpiece Lakland uses their Chi-Sonic pickups designed for high output and a wide frequency range with rounded bottoms, detailed mid range and smooth natural highs.

This bass is also known for a firm punchy attack with good sustain.  The Lakland Hollowbody US Series bass comes in both a standard and deluxe version with the difference being that the Deluxe comes with flame maple top.  The Hollowbody also has a unique Lakland headstock logo.  This bass is available in a left handed version. These are generally built to order and depending on stock they may have a lead time for delivery.
