Lakland US Series 44-AJ and 55-AJ Basses

The Lakland 44-AJ 4 string and 55-AJ 5 string basses play as great as they look.  A bound neck and chrome hardware show off the flame maple tops but these basses have more than good looks.  Vintage J hum canceling pickups provide great tone.  Both basses are fully Made in USA.

The Lakland 44-AJ and 55-AJ feature a bound neck, and upgrade option for pearloid position markers (shown), quarter sawn rock maple neck with graphite reinforcement bars, swap ash body with flame maple bodies (quilt top optional) and 3 band LH-3 preamp and active J hum canceling pickups.  The 4 string uses a 20 fret 34" scale while the 5 string uses a 22 fret 35" scale.  Chi Sonic pickups are an upgrade on both basses and a left handed version is available in both the 4 string and 5 string models.
